- I love Mack, even when I met him during Ryan and Stella's story, but I really wanted to smack him upside his head many times!!! It always bothers me when someone lets other people's opinions rule their life. Unfortunately, this is Mack! He believes all the terrible things his ex-wife said about him because he thinks he failed her. When in reality, she's just a selfish bitch!!! But believing what she said makes it hard for him to move on, especially with Frannie.
I have to say that, for a 10 year age gap, Frannie was the more mature one! She's been through a lot in her life and has time to figure out what she truly wants for herself. And she's finally going to go after it! I really like her and loved how she stood up for herself and her dreams, even when it was very hard for her! Loved her relationship with Mack's girls!!! She was amazing with them and they just loved her!
The chemistry between Frannie and Mack was so evident that it jumped off the pages of the book!! Even Frannie's sisters saw it before anything even happened between them! They were extremely hot together!!
Really liked going back to Cloverleigh Farms, since we were introduced to it and the Sawyer family in Only Love. The Sawyer's are a great family! Loved that Frannie was making an effort, and succeeding, in getting closer to her sisters. Especially Chloe and April.
The secondary characters were amazing in this book!!! Mack's daughters stole the show, time after time!!! Not only their individual personalities but Mack's relationship with each one of them. And the 3 of them coming together to help their dad toward the end, PRICELESS!!!! AND, getting to revisit with some other Melanie Harlow characters from other books just made my day!!!! Not going to say who because I don't want to ruin it, but they were my favorite Harlow couple ever!!!!
This is a wonderful book and I highly recommend it to anyone who's either a romance fan or a Melanie Harlow fan! You won't regret it!!! - What a lovely beginning to this community. I love the writing by this author. I always know I am going to have a story I am going to fall in love with. I always know I will want to live in this community. This was another one of those books and I can't wait to see what's next!

I took a chance on Irresistible because it was a single dad/nanny trope, which is one of my faves, and I was not disappointed.
Mack is trying to survive raising three girls after their mother left, work a full time job, cook, clean, and everything else that goes into running a household. The last thing on his mind is dating. Until he starts to look at Frannie, his boss’ daughter and nanny to his girls, in a different light. He is convinced that he doesn’t have anything to give her, but Frannie is determined to prove him wrong. Mack is a devoted father who just wants to make sure his girls know that they are loved in this world. He is sexy and strong and everything a father should be to his kids.
Frannie was dealt a tough hand early in life and has been sheltered by her overprotective, loving parents because of it. She is ready to spread her wings and take on the world, even if it means admitting her feelings for a guy ten years her senior. Frannie is sweet, genuine, and stronger than she looks. I loved her big heart and her willingness to fight for what she wants in life despite people telling her it’s not possible.
I loved the small town, big family feel of this book. It was written well and left me wanting more of these characters. I wish I had just one more epilogue because I am dying to know what happens next!
Overall Rating 4/5 Stars! - Irresistible by Melanie Harlow is the first book in her brand new Cloverleigh Farms series and I was blown away by the story and the characters.
I recommend going in blind. Don't read the blurb or a spoiler-ish review. I promise you'll not be disappointed with this book.
Irresistible tells the story of Mack, a single dad, and Frannie the nanny. And no, it's NOT the typical single dad- nanny story. This book is more, much much more.
I confess I'm a huge sucker for single dad stories and that is what threw me first to the book, but when I started reading I was immediatedly sucked into the beautiful and at the same time heartwrenching story. My heart was bleeding for the characters. Both are good people and have to live with the cards that were dealt to them, make the best out of it.
The story had me glued to the pages and I read the book cover to cover in one sitting. Yes it's that good. I recommend Irresistible and can't wait to read the next book in the series, Undeniable. 5 ++ stars. - The first book to this new series and it is great. This is a romantic read that will keep you wrapped up and you won’t be able to put it down
- Teddy Hamilton is MACK! Holy moly this is the narrator of choice! He's the man and brings Mack to life!
Savannah Peachwood is the perfect Frannie.
You want this audio. Trust me. It's fantastic!
